How hard is the migration going to be ? I have about 1000 topics which is not tto bad

The migration isn't hard at all. 1000 topics is actually very small (depending on number of users and posts of course - and if you don't have a large number of attachments, locally stored files(non phpbb)
I suspect even a free hosting package would suffice (for a long time still).

However my question is as to whether I can set up a phpbb on another webhost and have the correct domain pointers to the same domain. Looks sort of complicated especially given that I have modified lot of code on many files as well as using many cool extensions.
Looks like lot of work
