Do you mean you crave statistics in your face? Or do you mean you hate statistics in your face? I honestly can't tell.
And what are "what's this; what that lay-outs"? If you mean things that aren't obvious at a glance, I'd put phpBB's (IMO) excessive use of icons sans text in that category. Title attribute as backup doesn't cut it either, because it's useless on touchscreen and useless for screen readers.
