A. Direct edits to prosilver, use a tool like Winmerge to easily merge your edits when updating.

This was my solution for the past 12 years.
IMO, the currently used "fork" concept should be abandoned and completely replaced with an "inheritance" concept.
All the necessary means and tools for that are already available.

B. Add them at end of stylesheet.css and merge them with new stylesheet.css when updating.

That's exactly what I'm struggling with.
And now I'm a step closer, thanks to cabot!
